Mysterious Past of Blount Mansion

It’s that time of the year! Ghosts, goblins, witches, haints, and The Mysterious Past of Blount Mansion.

Our annual Halloween event will be bigger and better than ever this year. There will be ghost stories, scary legends, history about death and dying in the 18th and 19th centuries, and more! There will be candy for the kids and some extra special fun with our other house on-site ,the Craighead-Jackson House, one of the most haunted sites in Knoxville!

We will have three tours starting at 8, 9, and 10 o’clock P.M. on Saturday October 28th.

On Monday October 30th and Tuesday October 31st we will have tours at 8 and 9 o’clock P.M.

Tickets can be purchased before the event at our Square site.  Just use the link below and select which tour you would like to go on. Tours will fill up fast so reserve your tickets today.

Come and join the spirits for a tour of Downtown Knoxville’s scariest landmarks. The tours, which last approximately two hours each, will visit the sites of some of Knoxville’s best kept secrets. The tour will be about one and a half miles in length. All tours begin and end at James White’s Fort located at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Hall of Fame Drive. Ample free parking is available for tour participants at the Fort.

Tours are given October 19th, 20th, 23rd, 24th, 28th & 30th. Tours will depart promptly at 7:00pm each evening. Please plan to arrive between 6:30-6:45pm for check in. Each tour will end with a marshmallow roast around the fires at the Fort.

Admission for Adults 16 and over will be $10.00 and $6.00 for children ages 6–15.

Reservations are requested for large groups of 12 or more.  In case of inclement weather, please call James White’s Fort to find out if the tour is cancelled (865) 525-6514.

The tour will be about one and a half miles in length. All tours begin and end at James White’s Fort located at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Hall of Fame Drive. Ample free parking is available for tour participants at the Fort.

Tours are given October 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th & 29th. Tours will depart promptly at 7:00pm each evening. Please plan to arrive between 6:30-6:45pm for check in. Each tour will end with a marshmallow roast around the fires at the Fort.

Admission for Adults 16 and over will be $10.00 and $6.00 for children ages 6–15. Local checks or cash payments only.
