Statehood Day Celebration
June 1 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Statehood Day will be celebrated by all Historic Homes of Knoxville! Activities at each house will vary. Please keep an eye on this event page as we update closer to the event!
Blount Mansion will be offering FREE tours of the Mansion from 10:00am – 3:00pm
Crescent Bend will be offering FREE tours from 10:00am – 2:00pm
James White’s Fort will offer FREE admission, with self guided tours from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Tennesseeans for Living History volunteers will be demonstrating the lifestyle of 1796: Open Hearth and Fire Pit Cooking, Blacksmithing, Weaving, Spinning and other pioneer era tasks. Donations gladly accepted.
Mabry-Hazen House will offer FREE tours on Saturday, June 1st from 10:00am-3:00pm. Living historians will be on site to share the history of the site and what was it like to be a Civil War soldier. They will several historic demonstrations including a Civil War black powder firing demo, which will occur at 11:30am and 1:30pm.
Marble Springs will offer FREE Admission All Day, and donations are gratefully accepted.

Historic Ramsey House will be offering FREE living history tours of the Historic Ramsey House from 10:00am-3:00pm! Come help us celebrate with Col. Ramsey and enjoy a birthday treat. This event is FREE, but donations are always happily accepted and go towards the ongoing preservation and maintenance of Historic Ramsey House. We look forward to seeing you there!
