Herbal Preparations of Historic Medicine: Part 2
February 22 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm$20.00
This is the second part of a series on Herbal Preparations of Historic Medicine: Learn how herbs were used by the pioneers of Appalachia for their medical needs. You will learn all about drying and preserving your herbs. We will make Infusions, Tinctures, Diffusions, Teas, Salves, Poultices, Washes, Syrups, Plasters and more. Blount Mansion had an Apothecary found in it’s basement showing the importance of these preparations. This will be a hands on workshop with participants learning in the manner that they can best retain the information. Participants are asked to bring an item to share for a potluck lunch with their new friends. This is my most popular workshop and will fill up fast. Please call Blount Mansion at (865)525-2375 and make your reservations today.
Tickets can also be purchased HERE.
